GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Every Freedom Fest attendee needs a ticket. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket.
  • Freedom Fest will take place rain or shine.
  • Lineup and schedule subject to change.
  • Re-entry is not allowed.

PARKING

  • Free parking is available at Birmingham Parking Authority Deck 7. You will have to enter and exit the deck on the 18th Street Side.

Main Festival Entrance

  • Freedom Fest main entrance is located at the intersection of 17th Street North and 6th Avenue North.
  • The address to Kelly Ingram Park is 500 17th Street North, Birmingham, AL 35203.

Q. What type of tickets are available?
A. General Admission tickets are available and can be purchased at https://birminghamfreedomfest.tix.com

Q. What is the minimum age?
A. Freedom Fest is generally an event for adults. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a ticket- holding adult over the age of 21.

Q. Do kids get in free?
A. Kids under the age of 10 will be allowed free entrance into the festival. Kids 11 and older will need a ticket to enter.

Q. Are there extra fees?
A. The price you see for admission passes is the price you pay — prices reflect all fees included. No surprises.

Q. I bought a ticket, when will I receive my wristband?
A. Wristbands will be placed on your arm as you enter Freedom Fest.

Q. Can I camp at Freedom Fest?
A.Due to safety concerns, camping is not allowed at Freedom Fest.

Q. What should I bring to the Fest?
A. Here are some things you might want to pack:

○ Liquid sunscreen, in non–aerosol containers of 3oz. or less.

○ Bug spray in non–aerosol containers of 3oz. or less.

○ Small bags and purses.

Q. What items should I leave at home?
A. We ask you keep the following items at home, for your safety and the safety of everyone here at Freedom Fest! The following items are prohibited and are subject to change:

  • Tents, umbrellas, or temporary structures of any kind.
  • Weapons, knives, or firearms of any kind, including any item that can be used as a weapon.
  • Narcotics, including marijuana, drug paraphernalia and any other illegal substances.
  • No backpacks, purses, or bags allowed except bags not exceeding 12” x 6” x 12”
  • Alcoholic beverages of any kind.
  • Coolers of any kind.
  • Drones or any other remote flying device.
  • No kites or flying devices.
  • Focused -light devices, including laser pointers.
  • Marker pens and spray paint.
  • Air horns and/or megaphones.
  • Items intended for sale/promotion (including flyers, stickers and posters).
  • Water guns, water balloons, and/or any other kind of water projectile.
  • Glass in any form, including glass bottles.
  • Outside food or beverages.
  • Skateboards, rollerblades, hoverboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons and/or motorized carts or scooters.
  • Bicycles inside festival grounds (bike racks will be available near the entrance).
  • Fireworks, sparklers, firecrackers, and/or incendiary or explosive devices of any kind.
  • Coolers of any kind, including hard sided and soft sided coolers.
  • Pets (service animals with current rabies vaccination excepted).
  • Video equipment of any kind (including personal camcorders and GoPro cameras).
  • Professional photo equipment (SLR/DSLR cameras, detachable/removable lens cameras).
  • Audio recording equipment of any kind.
  • Portable audio equipment of any kind, including portable “boom box” stereo systems.
  • Professional radios or walkie talkies.
  • Flags and/or flagpoles.
  • No hammocks.
  • Any item that can be used as a means to disturb the peace, endanger the safety of the crowd, and/or inflict damage to people and goods.

Entry Conditions for Guests

The following conditions are for guests entering the venue:

  • All guests and their belongings will be searched. Attendees will go through the following security measures:
    • Bag check
    • Magnetometers
    • Wanding
  • Any prohibited item that is surrendered to security at search points will not be returned.
  • Allowed and prohibited lists are subject to change.
  • No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed in or around the venue.
  • Freedom Fest and private security personnel at the entrances reserve the right to make the final determination on allowed and non–allowed items

Q. Will lockers be available at the festival?
A. Lockers will not be available at Freedom Fest.

Q.Can I bring food inside the festival?
A.No outside food or beverages are allowed.

Q.  Can I take my wristband off?
A. Wristbands cannot be removed and must be worn for the duration of Freedom Fest.Please don’t remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will be denied entry.

Q. I lost my wristband. Now what?
A. Wristbands are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be replaced.

Q. Are there ATMs at the festival?

A.There are no ATMs at the festival. The festival onsite tickets and bar will be cashless.Food trucks and merchandise vendors may accept cash but we are encouraging participants to use a cashless method of payment for all purchases.

Lost & Found

We hope you don’t lose anything at this year’s Festival, but if you do, stop by theFreedom Fest Guest Experience Booth to inquire about your lost item. Be sure to include the type, brand, color and any additional info you can provide to identify the item.

Info, medical and first aid stations

We make every effort to create a safe environment at Freedom Fest. To ensure this, we have security and medical staff working throughout the festival. If you’re experiencing any problems whatsoever, locate a festival staff member, security guard, or police officer. If you need medical assistance, seek out the medical tent, or look for a police officer or festival staff member.
